LESLIE PO, MD MSCHQ FRCSC

Dr. Leslie Po is an Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto, Canada. She currently practices at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto. Dr. Po completed her obstetrics and gynaecology residency at the University of Toronto and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynaecologic Surgery at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Dr. Po also holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Quality from Queen’s University. Besides her obstetrical practice, her gynecologic practice focuses predominantly on the management of fibroids and endometriosis, as well as advanced laparoscopic surgery. She is also one of the preceptors for the AAGL fellowship program at Sunnybrook and actively teaches at the University of Toronto. Dr. Po’s research interest is in quality improvement and patient safety (QIPS). She is currently the co-lead for QIPS at Sunnybrook. She is actively involved in QIPS at the University of Toronto and has been involved nationally for the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC) in their Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) Committee for Gynecology and the Choosing Wisely Canada Committee.
